The Florida Gators Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 is now available

Nike has dropped the latest Florida Gators shoe. Here is how you can get your hands on a pair.

Each year, Nike provides its top tier programs with a special edition shoe, customized in the program’s colors and logos. Over the years, the Gators have been a top participant in the shoe lines, and this year is no different.

Nike and Florida released the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 on Wednesday, making it the 4th Pegasus shoe the Gators have received (36’s in 2019, 37’s in 2020, 38’s in 2021). This year’s shoe features blue as the dominant color and is available for men and women as a unisex shoe.

Other features of the shoe include a oversized Nike swoosh, Gator Skin print on the insole, and the Gatorhead logo on the heel. The Pegasus also features Nike’s newest cushioning system, React, for a soft but responsive ride. The Pegasus 39 also features two Zoom Air cushions, one in the forefoot and one in the heel, versus the 38 which only had a cushion in the heel.

The 2022 Pegasus 39 is one of the best Gators shoes in recent years. Last year’s shoes were mostly all orange, 2020 was a big hit with an all white look, and then 2019 had a odd mixture of blue and black. Previously, Nike released training shoes each year before switching to the Pegasus model in 2019. The Pegasus is Nike’s best selling shoe each year and this year’s shoe is a must for any Gators fan.
