The Florida Gators Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 is now available
Nike has dropped the latest Florida Gators shoe. Here is how you can get your hands on a pair
Each year, Nike provides its top tier programs with a special edition shoe, customized in the program’s colors and logos. Over the years, the Gators have been a top participant in the shoe lines, and this year is no different.
Nike and Florida released the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 on Tuesday, making it the 3rd Pegasus shoe the Gators have received (36’s in 2019, 37’s in 2020). This year’s shoe features orange as the dominant color and is available for men and women as a unisex shoe.
Other features of the shoe include a oversized Nike swoosh, Gator Skin print on the insole, and the Gatorhead logo on the heel. The Pegasus also features Nike’s newest cushioning system, React, for a soft but responsive ride.
Florida’s shoes can be pretty hit or miss year after year. Last year’s base color white was a hit, but in 2019 the base color was blue and black. Click here to view previous shoes. The 2021 Pegasus 38 are definitely a strong addition to the lineup, and a must have for any Gators fan, especially considering the Pegasus is Nike’s best selling shoe year after year.
