Fans can now purchase official Jordan Brand jerseys of players on the Gators roster, including Anthony Richardson.

It’s finally here. After 6 months of patiently waiting, fans can now wear custom Florida Gators jerseys of a current player. Beginning today, you can visit Fanatics to create a jersey of your favorite player or for an Anthony Richardson jersey. To get your jersey click here.

Per the Gators announcement in February, new NIL regulation now allows student athletes to be compensated for their name, image, and likeness, opening the door for college programs across the country to sell jerseys to fans featuring the last name and number of any player on the roster. Fanatics and OneTeam Partners joined with the Florida Gators to make this happen, allowing a portion of each jersey sale to go directly to the athlete.

You can shop for your favorite player, including Anthony Richardson, below:

The announcement first came in February 2022 from the Gators, showcasing Gervon Dexter, Trey Dean III, and Justin Shorter. Read the official announcement here: Customized Gators Jerseys Available This Fall — Florida Gators

The jerseys are officially produced by Fanatics and Jordan Brand. Once fans arrive on the jersey customization screen, they can click the “Select Player” drop down box to select from the roster of players opted-in to the group licensing program through OneTeam Partners, then select their jersey size. Jerseys are made to order and will ship by September 27th.

This marks the first time Florida has been able to sell jerseys with a specific name/number combination. Starting in 2007, Florida sold #15 jerseys but did not feature Tebow on the back. The #15 jersey joined #96 (to honor the Gators first national championship) and a generic #1 jersey until the early 2010s, when national controversies regarding player’s name, image, and likeness (like EA’s NCAA football series) limited Florida to only selling the #1 jersey and the # of the current year (such as #18 for the 2018 season).

Top player jerseys are always a massive hit. Tebow’s jersey was a top-seller while he was playing college football at the University of Florida. In 2008, according to Bleacher Report, the UF Bookstore sold around 2,000 Tim Tebow №15 jerseys. When Tebow joined the Jaguars for a brief stint in 2021, his jersey sales topped all NFL jerseys sales in less than 24hrs. (via The Florida Times Union).

Up until today, fans could only get a specific jersey number and name from bootleg sites (famously foreign sites such as DHGate). Now, fans can get real, authentic, official jerseys directly from the Florida Gators — with a portion of proceeds going directly to the player chosen.

Fans can shop now here.
